About AudGrade

AudGrade exists to bring career transparency to audiology and hearing healthcare professionals — clear salaries, observable hiring practices, and moderated employer reviews that the profession can actually trust.

Our mission

Audiologists, hearing instrument specialists, ENT staff, and the rest of the hearing healthcare workforce deserve the same labor-market visibility that adjacent professions take for granted. AudGrade is the focused alternative to general-purpose job boards and salary tools: a single, profession-specific place to compare jobs, salaries, hiring practices, and reviews. AudGrade is independent and not affiliated with any manufacturer, retail chain, or buying group.

What the platform does

  • Jobs. Aggregates audiology and hearing healthcare job listings from public sources into a single searchable board.
  • Salaries. Surfaces salary data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics combined with user-submitted compensation reports.
  • Hiring Practices Grades. Computes a per-employer grade from observable signals in their public job postings.
  • Reviews. Hosts anonymous, moderated reviews across six workplace dimensions so candidates know what they're walking into.

Methodology

Salaries

Salary ranges combine two sources. The baseline comes from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics (OEWS) program, which publishes wage estimates by occupation and metro area. User-submitted salary reports layer on top to capture role-, employer-, and experience-level detail that OEWS aggregates away. Every submission is moderated; outliers are flagged and excluded from the published baseline until verified.

Hiring Practices Grades

Each employer receives a Hiring Practices Grade derived from observable signals in their public job postings: posting cadence and consistency, whether salary ranges are disclosed, and time-to-fill signals visible from posting and removal dates. Grades are recalculated as new postings appear. They reflect practices, not a judgment of the people working there.

Reviews

Reviews are submitted anonymously across six axes — culture, management, compensation, work-life, growth, and diversity — and are moderated for fit with our content policy before they publish. Aggregate ratings are never displayed unless real, approved reviews back them. If a profile has no reviews yet, the page says exactly that.
